Turkey Stuffed Shells with Fresh Marinara
Cooking crabs with no seasoning..🤮
This is an awesome method to soften corn tortillas! I have been frying them for YEARS and it is such a pain in the rear. I put 12 of them on a large cookie sheet, oiled both sides with extra light olive oil using a silicone basting brush, they did overlap a little, in a 325 degree oven for exactly 3 minutes like you instructed and BOOM! Soft! I placed them in a tortilla warmer so they will stay soft until ready to roll. THANK YOU!!
I like this better than dipping them in hot cooking oil…thank you ❤
You lost me when you said spray them with poison
Many cooking sprays now do NOT use poison. But natural accelerants. Also, you may note, I give the alternative of brushing them with cooking oil, no spray needed. Cheers ~ Lindy
Hi, there where can I order them live?
Why infuse aerosol into your food when you can steam water into it? Also, you don’t need to waste a piece of aluminum foil which will be tossed into our landfill?
The idea behind the oil is to soften it as well as coat it so it doesn't fall apart in the sauce. Steam will soften but will not protect. Steam if you want.. And if you prefer, use a pan that you can wash and brush oil on as opposed to spraying it.
Sheesh, sounds like you take alot of extra steps to make your life difficult. Just saying.
@Lindysez123 thank you so much! This worked fantasticly. ❤
I add carrots to mine for the sweetness. Chef's kiss😊
S f bay Native here. Got two in the sink and the water is boiling. Salt and bay leaf and a little bit of bay seasoning and it's on
Steam them
You threw away the best part!
0:15 Mr.Krabs: oh where am I? What's going on here? Uh oh. I do believe in magic x4 Oh nooooooooooooo.
Thank you so much, it worked perfect!!
Here in am writing this on New Year’s Eve, the year of our lord 2023. Boy have times changed from 11 years ago, 2012 when it says this video was made.
If a wild rabbit is used, they tend to be tougher. My recommendation would be to use a slow cooker. Our wild rabbits usually take 4 to 5 hours in a slow cooker for them to fall off the bone. Otherwise, I’ve tried this recipe and it’s delicious!
How would you like to be boiled to death
I wouldn't, but then, I'm not a crab.
add a lemon, an onion, a couple ribs of celery and a couple carrots... its called a court bouillon in chef speak and is a yummy poaching stock for seafood. fennel also finds a home in this broth if you like that taste
That is a great idea for another type of crab. But Dungeness is so sweet you don’t want to spoil the flavor with aromatics. Unless you want to then go ahead and add them.
Grandma made it with left over roast, potatoes, gravy, salt and pepper and cooked it crusty…. It was fabulous!
HEY! ❤ Yeah I don't know what is up with the fancy videos. Plain is best. Kudos to the host of the video though, she did a great job with the technique. As for me, nothing but roast beef, potatoes and salt and pepper. Other than that, excellent video. But if anyone else sees this, dill in hash 🤮, you better love dill. If anyone overcooks their roast beef, make this, just leave out the spices, peppers and onions.
I Wash Them In Steam Them in Beer with Old Bay Seasoning
That’s The Maryland Way
You guys make a real mess of the crabs
Can corn tortillas be dipped in enchilada sauce instead of oil for preparing enchiladas?
Sure they can be, and that's how my husband's family did it for years. But while that softens it the sauce also penetrates it making it fall apart quicker in the finished dish. The thin layer of oil protects the tortilla so this is my preferred method. Cheers ~Lindy
Just to add onto that. You should do both. You gotta get some of the moisture out first then dip fill and roll.
Its DEFINTLY GOOD AF! but dats Fked up too!! whatRweDoing
Ruined it, by not making it clear how long they stay in cooking having returned to the boil. Most people know how to despatch crab, what everyone wants to know how LONG In the skaters water!
Hi there, actually I do say to cook for 7 minutes once the water comes back to a boil, and I put that in big type as well. Guess you must have missed it. Cheers ~ Lindy (and many don't know how to "dispatch" a crab.
cleaning crab the hard way...
You have no idea what you're talking about. Wild and tame rabbit meat looks the same. They leave the liver and kidney for a reason but I guess that's above your pay grade.
Hi and thanks for your comment. When I lived In Germany wild hare was used and they were red. In the US wild rabbit can be white, depends on diet. Most farm raised rabbit are white. The butchered rabbit may or may not contain the heart and kidneys, just as chicken sometimes does and sometimes does not contain the innards. I don't have a "pay grade".
I usually fry the tortillas very briefly in a shallow pan half filled with vegetable oil, then dip it in the enchilada sauce while it's still hot. What is different about the way the tortillas come out using the oven instead of a skillet with oil?
Hi, I think this just uses less oil. The way you do it will work, but you most likely have extra oil to do something with. This method eliminates that and the tortillas are less oily. Cheers ~ Lindy
The only way to make them .. yes.. this video is ridiculous
@@ispankchris I( don't think it's ridiculous, you don't use as much oil, you get them all done at one time, and you don't have to take care of disposing of excess oil. But feel free to do it your own way. Cheers and good cooking ~ Lindy
I’m only concerned with using and ingesting more seed oils (really bad for us) but like this idea while warming and rubbing coconut oil on them instead? I used to also fry in oil until I found out about the seed oil issues. Great idea here and I’ll just modify a little.
Thank you so much for your time.
Sunday when I was young was roast. Monday night my mother always fixed roast beef hash. It was very good. But she didn't use onions and green peppers etc. It was still good but now I'm going to try your re ipe since my mother is passed.
Thank you so much for this, it helped me so much and was so easy!! Hope to see more videos from you!
Thank you, glad to help. Cheers Lindy
Same here. Thank you.!!
Not sure how this ended up on my recommend list but I added it to my favorites 6 months ago and promptly purchased 2 rabbits on line and froze them and forgot about them. In the 50s my parents raised rabbits (Kaninchen) in Kempen, Germany where I was born. Mutti fixed them about like you did. Haven't had this for many years. Today is Thanksgiving and my wife asked me "can we do something different this year, not the same old Truthahn?" She remembered the rabbits and I'm now in the process of fixing them. I swear I could smell the rabbit stew you were making. Thanks.
Hello, so glad you got those rabbits out of the freezer and into the pot! I hope you enjoy them as much as you did as a child. Cheers ~ Lindy
@@Lindysez123 → Enjoyed them very much. Brought back some memories. Thanks again.
Thank you for sharing...Will have to try it this way because other ways I have tried the fall apart on me...
You are welcome, you still can't leave them in the sauce for hours, but it always works for me.
Thanks, I can't believe how many videos only show the rolling but not this step!
You are more than welcome...Cheers ~ Lindy
Be vewy vewy quiet.

Zucchini has too much water
Thanks
Looks good. Nice straight forward presentation. Thanks.

Freezing them for 30 mins is more humane &, the meat will be more tender. Crabs clench up when *boiled to death* so that crab flesh is tight.
Are you a spokesperson for fucking aerosol? The hell is wrong with you?
Thank yOU bout to try this out
Jacuzzi bath? You are a nutjob
Can’t watch, you really should be using the safety guard!
Not if you are careful and know what you are doing...do you use a safety guard when you use a knife? It's sharp, be careful, you could cut yourself. Cheers to living life dangerously! And with great attention to what I'm doing.
Yassss!!!! Thank you! This is so much easier than the way my ex mother in law showed me 😁
Yeah! I'm glad you tried it. Thanks for taking the time to give me feedback. Cheers ~ Lindy
Hi, I see this was posted 10 years ago. Well, I’m making it today. Wish me luck. I have no one share it with. I live with my mom (we are both over 64) and she is “not going to even taste it, not for a million bucks.” Well I can’t wait. Just turning over the meat in the marinade created such a bouquet, I can’t even describe it, so incredibly wonderful! I added a couple juniper berries because I started with a different recipe but your video is sooo great🥰🥰
Yes, it's been 10 years since I posted this and about 50+ having eaten it. I think your mother should give it a taste, maybe once she sees it done? Good luck, I'm sure you will be successful in completing the dish. And thanks for the video Kudos...Cheers
The concept is good but dill? 🤢 I just want plain hash, but she does do a good old fashioned recipe. I just won't add thyme dill and olive oil which can destroy the flavor unless you like those ingredients. I don't think hash is supposed to be "chef style"
At what temp in the oven?
I do believe I say 325ºF (that's about 176ºC)
325F
You cook amazing. Why don’t you add your recipes on Khal, com. Your recipe will be in the top videos..
Yummy recipe but please don’t use the word retard, it’s an old outdated term that’s very triggering for people with disabilities
I made this in 2014 and I was being a total "retard" in the correct definition of the word "to delay progress development, or accomplishment. It would have been a lot easier to put the cheese directly into chute :-)
Most humans suffer harder and longer than these crabs did before they died.
You can and should use starch, but you have to stir it in correctly, it's not that simple and if you do it wrong, you'll mess up the whole thing
No you don't HAVE to use starch, but if you like it grainy and not homogenous then go ahead. Cheers ~ Lindy
